Our family absolutely loves pizza. Always have and always will. But after eating a slice my belly can get a bit bloated. This is due to the starch in the pizza dough. When starch sits in the belly too long it starts to ferment which causes gas and bloating. So we have recently started to make our pizza crust out of Zucchini which has become a big hit in our home!! Check out this simple tasty zucchini pizza recipe and tell me what you think :
Mozzarella Cheese (optional)
Shred zucchinis and place in a bowl.
In a separate bowl mix the eggs.
Add the eggs with the zucchini and mix together.
Spread a table spoon of olive oil on pizza tray.
Add Zucchini mixed with eggs to the pizza tray being sure to spread evenly while slightly rounding the edges a bit higher than the center.
Preheat oven to 450degrees.
Place pizza in the oven for 12-15minutes.
(optional) Add mozzarella cheese and place pizza back in the oven for another 5 minutes.
Add other toppings if desired.
