I love it when I come across recipes that the entire family enjoys as that can sometime be a challenge at our home. Check out this tasty french toast recipe that the entire family absolutely loves! Let me know what you think :-)
French Toast (serves 8)
-1 tsp Ground cinnamon
-1/4 Ground Nutmeg
-2 Tbsp Pure maple syrup
-4 Tbsp Grassfed butter (or extra-virgin organic cocunut oil)
-1/4 Cup Unsweetened almond milk
-1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
-8 Slices low-sodium sprouted whole-grain bread
-Combine eggs, almond milk, maple syrup, nutmeg, and vanilla
extract in a medium bowl; whisk to blend..
-Soak each slice of bread in egg mix.
-Heat oil in medium nonstick skillet over medium heat.
-Add bread; cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
-Top each slice with Strawberries and 1/2 tsp of maple syrup.
