Last week I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Passion Brewing Mamma's pod cast host, Whitney from Cup of Passion. We talked a great deal about the importance of health and fitness. This week I thought I would share some information in regards to the importance of Health and Fitness when serving others.
In the world we live in today life moves pretty quickly. Many of us live day to day being of service to others. Whether that is within our work or taking care of our children. It is so easy to forget about our own health and fitness. And it is dangerous to do so. Not only do we raise the risk of certain diseases both mentally and physically, but it is also difficult to be of service to those we work with and/or take care of if we are not feeling our best. To feel our best it is important to eat right and take some time to exercise. I know for many of us it is easier said than done but I have learned through my own journey how important it is. In fact, it is what brought me into helping others through their journey.
When we don’t feel our best it makes it harder to give our best to those we serve. For me I found it so difficult to take care of my children and run my businesses without feeling exhausted and weak. When I started to take better care of myself by eating foods stacked with nutrients and getting a workout in at least 3 times a week, I started to feel different and this not only made a difference for me, but it made a difference with my children, as well as those I work with.
I wasn’t surprised at the difference working out has made because not only does it control weight gain and fight certain health conditions and diseases but Exercise also gives a boost of energy, and it does improves our mood. It does this by supplying the body tissues with oxygen and nutrients needed to help the cardiovascular system to work properly. This helps improve heart and lung health, giving the body much needed energy. This improves confidence has well, uplifting our mood.
Weekly exercise is a definite win for many of us and to those we serve. So through the busyness of the days, taking care of those around us, we must not forget the importance of taking care of ourselves as well 💗.
