One of the biggest ways to continue on your fitness journey or even getting started is motivation. Without the motivation it becomes a lot more difficult to create goals and reach them. The first step to gaining the motivation needed to work out is understanding the reasons for your lack of motivation. Here are some reasons you may not be motivated to workout.
1. No Time
With the busy life many of us live it is not easy to fit in a workout. Our schedule is filled with children, work and household responsibilities. We are lucky enough to find the time to eat. While having time to workout is not easy, it is possible. Here are some simple ways to get in some workout in a busy day:
2. You don’t like the feeling
Just the thought of exercise makes you exhausted. This feeling can happen because you may be low on energy, when it comes to our energy, the natural way we can gain energy is through eating a proper nutritious diet and being sure we get enough sleep. Another reason you may not like the feeling of working out is you may or you may have done a workout in the past that didn’t match with your style. Some people like working out with weights, some people like cardio, and some enjoy dancing. Finding your workout style is important to keeping you committed to your fitness journey.
3. Lacking the Accountability
Accountability is an important part in reaching any goal and that includes your fitness goals. It becomes more difficult to be consistent when we no accountability. Reaching fitness goals take a lot of work through commitment and dedication. So having Self accountability as well as accountability from friends will help through this process.
